Freestyle Dancing
Freestyle dancing is loosely based on disco dancing of the 1970's. It involves progressing around the dance floor with a series of energetic, acrobatic moves that can be performed solo or synchronised with a partner. It can include gymnastic style moves such as the splits and cartwheels, but often involves many leaps and jumps, spins and turns, kicks and punches (of the air). Danced to modern pop music, it is typically fast, frantic and furious.
