There is NO event for 2012 due to site refurbishments

The dance festival annually takes place at the Pontin's Holiday site at Camber, and although the accommodation cannot boast 5 stars the weekend is a fun if exhausting dance experience!

The competitions on Friday evening involve one dance per round until the final to enable the finish time to be more reasonable.

The Saturday evening session is much less of a formal competition and aimed more at encouraging everyone to join in and have fun. There are a range of events including fancy dress and adult and child competitions! The team events also take place which are well worth watching.

Dont forget

Your swimming trunks - there is an indoor pool.

Your bucket & spade - there is a lovely sandy beach! (You might need your hat scarf & gloves too though)!

For those who would like a break from the dancing, the Pontins site offers a range of facilities that you are entitled to use as a guest on the site. (If you can fit them in between dances and brave the elements!)

The facilities include an indoor swimming pool, crazy golf, table tennis and giant draughts. There is also an amusement arcade and other activities available at a small charge include go karting, abseiling, zip wire, trampolining and a climbing wall.
