Shows
Our shows have taken place nearly every year since our first in 2001. Starlight Express heralded JanSu's 10 year celebration as a dance school and involved virtually every student of the school.
Our subsequent shows have gone from strength to strength with much of the choreography being put together by the students and involving everyone who wants to participate from those at 3 years to our more senior members!

"Someone once said ‘there are short-cuts to happiness, and dancing is one of them’.
Twenty years ago two best friends decided to open their own dance school, so in September 1990, JanSu School of dance was born. On that first Saturday morning, there were a handful of children, now the school boasts more than 200 students, young and old. In the recent show letter, Janice and Sue wrote of their pride of being part of such a big family with the times that the pupils have shared, such as births and marriages, but they too have also shared many special moments with us. Both have become mothers, Janice a wife, and Sue has this year celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary with Phil. As a school, we too feel great pride at being able to share these special moments with them.
The children in this school, and those who were once children but are now grown up, have been given so much by Janice and Sue; the courage to express ourselves through dance, self confidence and a belief in ourselves and life-long friendships." |
