Terms & Conditions

Payments

Please note that all classes and lessons must be paid for on the day/night of the class or lesson.

Private Lessons

Please make sure that you check the start and finish date for term times to avoid paying for private lessons not taken. 48 Hours is required to cancel a lesson or the full fee becomes due. Every effort will be made to try and fill the lesson, although this is not always possible.

Couples Lessons

Should one person not give the appropriate notice, the partner will be given the full lesson, but both individuals will be charged for their original share of the lesson. If one partner gives 48 hours notice, it will be assumed that the lesson has been cancelled in full and the partners have informed each other.

If a teacher is unable to attend a lesson, (due to unforeseen circumstances), a substitute teacher will give the lesson without prior notice where possible.

Cheques

Cheques should be made payable to JanSu School of Dance and cannot be accepted under Ł10 in value. Please can you make sure that details of cheques covering more than one item are written on a note to avoid confusion, thank you.

Press Coverage

Traditionally we have contacted the local press on your behalf following national events, but with ever increasing numbers of you doing so well, the paper is less reluctant to publish group pictures and would prefer to take individual shots.

To this end we suggest that you approach them direct in future to avoid disappointment.

Nationwide Qualifiers

We are very concerned about the partnering at the Nationwide events. Whilst it would be nice to give every competitor a choice of partner, sadly this is not the case.

As a school we put the best interests of everyone first and sometimes have to make difficult decisions. We would appreciate your support in these choices.

Please enter this event in a sporting manner and appreciate those dancers who give up their time and effort to partner you. It is the dancing that is judged, not the partner.
